The Team

Before studying Web Development & Design at university, Alex dedicated his attention to Product Design. Spending most of his time in his school’s design studio, he rigorously pursued becoming an Architect.
After some time exploring architecture at university, Alex found a love for digital design, which, alongside his lifelong passion for technology, redirected him down a path to web design, development and, ultimately, cofounding Hay+Rice.
In the rare hours that he spends outside of the studio, Alex enjoys running, scotch, and shamefully – Emily in Paris.

Forever seeking to strike the balance between ease-of-use and eye-catching design, Dan has had a passion for design from an early age, which was cemented during his time studying design at university. He loves the challenge of making the lives of users as straightforward and enjoyable as possible.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time in the company of friends and family, quizzes, music, watching sports, and interior design. Although he may claim a second language, he only really speaks English.

Aniella joined Hay+Rice in 2020, providing expertise in project planning and management of day-to-day operations, as well as having a keen eye for detail. Since joining, her role has expanded into quality control and copy editing.

With a passion for art and literature, she spends much of her free time exploring the works of current and classic writers, artists, and musicians.
